Country Cooking At Sea Take 1
July 2, 2017
Well Rednecks if y'all missed the first Country Cooking at Sea, boy howdy, i can't even begin to start to tell you how much fun we all had, between the enormous amouts of fantastic food, to the amount of laughs , to the ports , i mean really, there are no words,
Lets start with the ship oh my bloomers this ship was one of the most beautiful and easy to navigate ships i have ever been on , ever turn there was something new something amazing to see or do or eat , the Head Chef took our whole group under his wing and treated us like we were Royalty just plain gracious beyond words , treated us to special private parties , palate pleasing wines (with a nod to my Favorite Executive chef Mr. Erik Holdo) for he's expert taste of wines and food that goes with them.
Chef Barry took us to the galley of the ship to show s the inner workings of feeding 6,400 people 3 times a day, he also joined us on the island for encouragement during the BBQ competition , which was won by mr Big Green Craig , but more about that later , the group was involved in baking demos, salsa demos, BBQ rub demos, and a live taping of The Chef and The Fatman show .
And shall i not forget one lil thing they served my pie, you know the one with the Bacon in it, that went viral and Flipped Paul Hollywood's wig ? yea that one they made it and fed the entire ship yes from the Captain the the lido deck it went all over the ship like cheap sunblock, now that was a feather in my cap i dont think i'll ever come down off that cloud .
I can say for myself this cruise will go down in my history as one of the best ones i have ever had the privilege of doing i hope that everyone will get to join us next year ,on the Carnival Ecstasy
